Back to School

When we turn our calendars from July to August, our focus is often “Back to School” preparations. The ritual of getting ready for school is an annual tradition that creates the feeling of a fresh start. Students are teaming with anticipation, excitement, and the dread that their summer vacations are ending. Parents are naturally eager to have their routines back in place for the next 9 months.

This August, however, is different. Are we planning to home school, and if so, when will our schools formally reopen for all students? This remains to be unseen, and uncertainty continues to be the constant in our lives. Home becomes ever so important because we educate, work, and live within its confines. Multipurpose rooms and furnishing are critical to our newly adopted lifestyles.

William D Scott offers a wide variety of multipurpose furnishings, including our beautiful Billingsley Desk from Emporium Home. It has a unique ellipse shape accented with a cream satin lacquer finish, hand-gilded gold accents, and satin brass hardware. Two drawers and hinged side compartments with storage shelves make this design perfect for both a desk and vanity.

If you are looking for a fun and practical chair to go along with this desk, our Geo Chair in the cream leather will work perfectly because of its’ sleek shape and brushed bronze frame. Couple this unique desk and chair with accessories from the Tiffany Collection featuring unexpected shapes and gorgeous top-grain leather, and you have a winning combination! Elevate working from home into an escape with William D Scott.

Let us embrace these challenging times as our students embrace their new school year with the hope for new starts, new discoveries, and new beginnings. After all, life is to be lived to the fullest. Adopt the unknown with the hope that our futures will be richer based on our experiences.
